How to Install gpiv software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gpiv software package provides GUI program for Particle Image Velocimetry, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gpiv

gpiv is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gpiv package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpiv *

You will get with gpiv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
